About this newsletter

The Wave is a newsletter about climate litigation and climate justice. It covers lawsuits that seek to further climate action or delay it around the world, profiles the people who bring them, analyses litigation trends, and examines their impacts and limitations.

It is written by Isabella Kaminski, a journalist with over 15 years of experience. She was deputy editor of The ENDS Report and as a freelancer has written for the Guardian, BBC, Independent, Climate Liability News, Climate Home, DeSmog, Undark, Hakai and others. She has been writing about climate litigation since 2016.

This newsletter is supported by a grant from the Foundation for International Law for the Environment (FILE), but retains full editorial independence.

All content is free, but regular news round-ups are only available to subscribers.

The Wave's logos were designed by Karen Burbano. You can check out her portfolio here.
